Anthony C. Georges
Mr. Anthony C. Georges, the elected Treasurer of the ICHS Center at
the University of Missouri, St. Louis, has significant experience in
finance, especially financial aid in education. He received his bachelor
and master degrees in education from Southern Illinois University at
Edwardsville and his Ph.D. in Higher Education from Southern Illinois
University at Carbondale. He served as a financial aid administrator
for the last seventeen years both at Jefferson College and at the
University of Missouri at St. Louis. Furthermore, he is a member of
numerous financial aid associations and has served as President of
the Missouri Association of Student Financial Aid Personnel (MASFAP).
The same organization awarded Mr. Georges the Missouri Award, their
highest honor, for his notable contributions to the financial aid profession.
Mr. Georges is native to St. Louis, Missouri. He is married to
Sonja Duro and they have three children Dorothy, Chris, and Stephen.
They are members of the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church.
